Taking that layer off chemically is what keeps a contact wash from dragging grit across the clear coat and installing the swirls you spend a whole afternoon polishing back out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDilute it first, then spray it over the panels and let it dwell. Rinse it off and follow with a two bucket wash or a foam gun. 3D gives two dilutions: 1800 to 1 through a foam cannon or lance running at 4.5 gallons per minute, or half an ounce to one ounce per five gallons of water by hand.
