What it is

DogFest is Canine Companions' signature celebration of the human–canine bond, and the Houston edition sets up at the Saint Arnold Brewing Company (2000 Lyons Ave., Houston, TX 77020). Expect a leashed-dog festival with contests, a vendor row, and fundraising that supports service dogs provided at no cost to people with disabilities. It's a feel-good afternoon with a real mission behind the tail wags.
