Raw Product, Feeding, and Assumption of Risk Notice
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT
By purchasing, possessing, opening, handling, feeding, or otherwise using any product sold by Sniff & Shift LLC (“Sniff & Shift,” “Sniff and Shift”), the purchaser and any person providing the product to an animal acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms:
Nature of Products
Certain Sniff & Shift products may contain raw animal ingredients, raw meat, raw organs, raw seafood, freeze-dried raw ingredients, air-dried animal products, bones, cartilage, shells, scales, connective tissue, or other animal-derived materials.
These products are intended solely as pet treats and supplemental feeding products.
Sniff & Shift products are not intended to serve as a complete and balanced diet and should not be relied upon as a pet’s sole source of nutrition unless specifically stated otherwise on the product packaging.
Assumption of Risk
The purchaser acknowledges that feeding any animal product to a pet carries inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to:
- Choking;
- Gastrointestinal upset;
- Digestive disturbances;
- Allergic reactions;
- Food sensitivities;
- Tooth damage;
- Oral injuries;
- Esophageal injury;
- Intestinal blockage or obstruction;
- Illness;
- Injury;
- Death.
The purchaser further acknowledges that individual animals may react differently to specific proteins, ingredients, textures, sizes, shapes, or feeding methods.
By purchasing or feeding any Sniff & Shift product, the purchaser voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the use of the product.
Supervised Feeding Required
All Sniff & Shift products present a potential choking hazard.
Products should only be fed under direct adult supervision.
Customers are responsible for selecting appropriately sized treats based upon their pet’s size, age, breed, chewing habits, health condition, and feeding history.
No Sniff & Shift product should be provided to an animal unattended.
Veterinary Consultation Recommended
Customers are solely responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their pet.
If there is any uncertainty regarding:
- Ingredient suitability;
- Allergies;
- Dietary restrictions;
- Medical conditions;
- Digestive sensitivities;
- Chewing safety;
- Appropriate feeding practices;
customers should consult a licensed veterinarian before feeding any Sniff & Shift product.

No Guarantee of Suitability
Every animal is unique.
Sniff & Shift makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any product is appropriate, safe, beneficial, effective, or suitable for a particular animal.
Customers are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any product for their pet.
Release and Hold Harmless Agreement
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the purchaser, pet owner, and any person feeding or handling a Sniff & Shift product agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless:
Sniff & Shift LLC, its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, assigns, representatives, brands, trade names, product lines, and related entities
from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, judgments, settlements, attorney fees, veterinary expenses, medical expenses, property damage, personal injury claims, wrongful death claims, and other damages arising from or related to:
- Purchase of a product;
- Possession of a product;
- Storage of a product;
- Handling of a product;
- Feeding of a product;
- Consumption of a product;
- Misuse of a product;
- Failure to supervise a pet while consuming a product;
- Failure to consult a veterinarian;
- Known or unknown sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions of a pet.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sniff & Shift’s total liability arising from or relating to any product shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
Under no circumstances shall Sniff & Shift be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including veterinary expenses, lost profits, emotional distress, loss of companionship, or other damages arising from the use of any product.
Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, possessing, opening, handling, feeding, or otherwise using any Sniff & Shift product, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this Raw Product, Feeding, and Assumption of Risk Notice and accept all associated risks.
