- Wissahickon Trails A Montgomery County land trust of 65 years standing that maintains more than 24 miles of trail, including the 12.6 mile Green Ribbon Trail.
- Friends of the Wissahickon Cares for Philadelphia's Wissahickon Valley Park, whose posted rules require dogs to be leashed on a leash no longer than six feet.
- Friends of the Chester Creek Trail An all volunteer 501(c)(3) that funded the dog waste bag stations and the bike repair station along the Chester Creek Trail in Delaware County.
- Brandywine Red Clay Alliance A West Chester watershed nonprofit that maintains seven public preserves, open dawn to dusk.
- Brandywine Conservancy The land conservation arm of the Brandywine Museum, protecting the Brandywine and Christina watershed across Chadds Ford and northern Delaware, and publisher of the Creek Greenway app.
- Green Valleys Watershed Association A Chester County watershed nonprofit of more than 60 years, headquartered at the Welkinweir preserve.
- Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor The nonprofit that manages the D&L Trail across Pennsylvania, based in Easton.
- Friends of Salt Springs Park A 501(c)(3) friends group since 1994 supporting Salt Springs State Park and its trail network in Susquehanna County.

- Columbia Land Conservancy A 40 year old Columbia County land trust maintaining public preserves including Borden's, Hand Hollow and Taghkanic Community Forest, with leash requirements on its lands.
- Friends of Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge A 501(c)(3) friends group supporting the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge in Oceanville, with an osprey camera and an audio tour of the Wildlife Drive.
- Passaic County Parks and Recreation The county parks department that hosts the annual Paws in the Park event and administers the Friends of Passaic County Parks volunteer group.
