Subscription, Pre-Order, and Try Before You Buy Policy

This Subscription, Pre-Order, and Try Before You Buy Policy (“Policy”) governs purchases made through Sniff & Shift LLC (“Sniff & Shift,” “Sniff and Shift,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy.

This Policy supersedes any conflicting language, statements, marketing materials, promotional materials, FAQs, customer communications, or other representations appearing elsewhere on the website with respect to subscription commitments, cancellation rights, minimum purchase obligations, and recurring billing arrangements.

If you have any questions regarding this Policy or any purchase offered through our website, it is your responsibility to contact Sniff & Shift and obtain clarification prior to placing an order.


1. Subscriptions

Certain products are offered as recurring subscriptions.

When you purchase a subscription, you authorize Sniff & Shift and its payment processors to:

  • Store your payment information securely;
  • Charge your selected payment method for recurring orders;
  • Automatically generate future orders according to the frequency selected during checkout;
  • Continue billing until the subscription is properly canceled in accordance with this Policy.

Subscription orders are automatically processed according to the delivery schedule selected by the customer.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew and continue until canceled.

Subscription customers may manage their subscriptions through the customer portal link provided in order confirmation emails or by contacting Sniff & Shift customer support.

Changes to product selections, shipping schedules, delivery frequencies, payment methods, and shipping addresses may be made at any time unless restricted by a specific promotional offer, minimum-purchase commitment, or discounted subscription program.

Monthly Modified Subscription Program

Special Promotional Terms

The Monthly Modified Subscription Program may occasionally be offered at a discounted introductory price.

Whenever a customer receives a first shipment at a price below the standard retail subscription price of $50.00, the discounted pricing is provided in exchange for the customer’s agreement to a minimum subscription commitment.

By purchasing a Monthly Modified subscription where the first shipment is discounted below $50.00, the customer expressly agrees to all of the following terms:

Minimum Purchase Commitment

The customer must complete a minimum of three (3) purchased subscription shipments before becoming eligible to cancel the subscription.

The minimum commitment consists of:

  1. One (1) introductory shipment purchased at the promotional discounted price; and
  2. Two (2) subsequent recurring subscription shipments charged at the then-current standard subscription rate of $50.00 per shipment, plus applicable taxes and shipping charges.

No Early Cancellation

The Monthly Modified subscription may not be canceled before the three-shipment minimum commitment has been satisfied.

Any request to cancel before completion of the minimum commitment may be denied.

Frequency Changes Do Not Reduce Commitment

Customers may request changes to shipment frequency, including but not limited to:

  • Delaying shipments;
  • Skipping shipments;
  • Changing delivery intervals;
  • Converting to a 45-day shipment schedule;
  • Temporarily pausing future shipment dates.

However, any such modification affects only shipment timing and does not reduce, eliminate, or satisfy the three-shipment minimum commitment requirement.

Accordingly, if a customer changes shipment frequency or skips shipments, the commitment period may extend beyond ninety (90) days.

Commitment Based on Shipments, Not Time

Eligibility to cancel is determined by completion of three qualifying purchased shipments and not by the passage of any specific number of days.

A customer who has not completed three purchased shipments remains subject to the minimum commitment regardless of the amount of time that has elapsed since enrollment.

Charge Authorization

By enrolling in a discounted Monthly Modified subscription, the customer authorizes Sniff & Shift LLC to charge the payment method on file for all subscription shipments required to satisfy the minimum commitment.

Cancellation After Commitment Completion

After completion of the required three purchased shipments, customers may cancel or modify their subscription at any time before the next billing date.

Priority of Terms

The Monthly Modified Subscription Program terms contained in this Section shall control and supersede any inconsistent language appearing elsewhere on the website, in marketing materials, promotional advertisements, checkout pages, subscription descriptions, customer communications, or other documents.

3. Cancellation of Eligible Subscriptions

Except where prohibited by a specific minimum-purchase commitment, promotional program, or other disclosed offer:

  • Customers may cancel subscriptions before the next scheduled billing date.
  • Cancellation requests received after a recurring order has been processed may apply to future recurring orders only.
  • Orders that have already been processed, packed, shipped, or delivered are not eligible for cancellation.

Refund eligibility is governed by our Return and Refund Policy.


4. Billing Authorization

By purchasing a subscription, customers expressly authorize Sniff & Shift to:

  • Charge the payment method provided at checkout;
  • Process recurring charges according to the selected subscription frequency;
  • Collect applicable taxes, shipping charges, and fees;
  • Continue recurring billing until cancellation becomes effective under this Policy.

Failure of a payment method to process successfully does not terminate the subscription obligation.

Sniff & Shift reserves the right to retry failed payments and contact customers regarding payment issues.


5. Pre-Orders

Certain products may be offered for sale before inventory becomes available.

By placing a pre-order, customers acknowledge that:

  • The product may not be immediately available for shipment;
  • Estimated availability dates are subject to change;
  • Sniff & Shift may collect full payment, partial payment, or no payment at checkout;
  • Sniff & Shift may securely store payment information for future collection of remaining balances.

Pre-orders that have not yet entered fulfillment may generally be canceled.

Once fulfillment has begun, cancellation may no longer be available.

Any refund requests following fulfillment shall be governed by the Return and Refund Policy.


6. Try Before You Buy

Certain products may be offered under a Try Before You Buy program.

When participating in a Try Before You Buy offer:

  • Sniff & Shift may authorize the customer’s payment method before shipment;
  • Customers will receive a specified evaluation period;
  • Customers may return eligible products within the designated evaluation period;
  • If products are not returned within the evaluation period, Sniff & Shift may charge the customer’s payment method for the full purchase price.

Specific evaluation periods and return requirements will be disclosed during checkout.


7. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Reviewing all product descriptions;
  • Reviewing all subscription disclosures;
  • Understanding recurring billing obligations;
  • Understanding any minimum purchase commitment before enrollment;
  • Maintaining accurate payment information;
  • Contacting Sniff & Shift before purchase if clarification is needed.

Failure to review this Policy does not relieve a customer of obligations arising from a completed purchase.


8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Sniff & Shift and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Initiating a chargeback does not automatically cancel a subscription or eliminate contractual payment obligations arising from a valid subscription commitment.

Sniff & Shift reserves all rights to provide transaction records, customer agreements, checkout records, subscription acknowledgments, and other documentation to financial institutions in response to payment disputes.


9. Policy Updates

Sniff & Shift reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time.

Changes shall become effective upon posting to the website unless otherwise required by law.

Any changes will apply prospectively and will not retroactively alter obligations already incurred by completed purchases unless required by applicable law.
