Biothane is a coated webbing that does not hold water or smell, which is why it outlasts nylon on a dog that swims and rolls. These straps fit E-Collar Technologies receivers: 3/4 inch adjustable in 12 colors, 1 inch adjustable in 10 colors, 3/4 inch reflective in 5 colors, and quick snap bungee versions in 3/4 inch and 1 inch.
Matching the strap width to the receiver
Match the strap to the receiver, not to the dog. Most standard Educator receivers ride on 3/4 inch; the larger 1 inch units take the wider strap. If you are not sure, the model number is printed on the receiver and we will check it for you.
When to replace one
A strap that has stretched, gone stiff, or lost its bite at the buckle lets the receiver rotate, and a rotated receiver is one of the quieter reasons a collar starts feeling inconsistent. Our e-collar safety guide covers how a receiver should sit before you touch any setting, and the troubleshooting guide covers a collar that already feels off.
