Bring Your Dog to the PAWS Mutt Strut — October 3

This one's close to home for the Malvern crew. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the PAWS Mutt Strut returns to The Navy Yard (4747 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19112) for its 20th year — a dog walk and festival packed with vendors, contests, and adoptable pups. Leashed, friendly dogs are not just allowed here; they're the whole idea.

What the Mutt Strut is

The Mutt Strut is the signature fundraiser for the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), the city's largest no-kill shelter. Twenty years in, it's become a Philly institution: part group dog walk, part street festival, part reunion for the whole regional dog community. Every registration and every dollar spent at the vendor booths helps PAWS rescue, care for, and rehome animals across the city — so your dog's big day out doubles as a lifeline for dogs still waiting for theirs.
