3D Super Pre-Soak Nano Drum, Gallon

Super Pre-Soak is the step before the wash. It is what 3D calls a "High pH, strong degreasing pre-soak", a super concentrate that loosens dirt, grime, road film, bugs and tar so that none of it is still sitting on the paint when your mitt arrives. Taking that layer off chemically is what keeps a contact wash from dragging grit across the clear coat and installing the swirls you spend a whole afternoon polishing back out.

Dilute it first, then spray it over the panels and let it dwell. Rinse it off and follow with a two bucket wash or a foam gun. 3D gives two dilutions: 1800 to 1 through a foam cannon or lance running at 4.5 gallons per minute, or half an ounce to one ounce per five gallons of water by hand. At those ratios a single gallon of concentrate covers an enormous number of pre soaks, which is the whole idea behind the drum packaging.
