The liquid gets the credit, but the pad and the machine decide how much correction actually happens. A coarse foam or wool pad cuts, a soft finishing pad refines, and the backing plate has to match the pad size or the whole thing fights you.

This is the largest hardware group in the Wash Bay. Most of it is RUPES: dual action foam pads in coarse, medium and fine, wool pads from 1.5 through 7 inch, matching backing plates and pad holders, and the UNO compound and polish line. Alongside them are RBL engineered abrasives and a cordless random orbital, a Dynabrade polisher, 3D foam and spider cut pads, applicator pucks, sanding discs, wheel brushes and a Power Woolie. Match them to compounds and polishes, finish with wax, sealants and coatings, and stock up on towels, bottles and accessories.
