Diamond Naturals Indoor Chicken and Rice Dry Cat Food

Diamond Naturals Indoor Chicken and Rice Formula is a dry kibble food made for adult indoor cats.

Diamond Pet Foods states on its own site that this formula “is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance.” Diamond describes it as formulated to meet the everyday needs of adult cats, made with cage-free chicken, and says it helps control and reduce hairball formation with omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids for skin and coat. Diamond’s own guaranteed analysis lists crude protein at 32 percent minimum, crude fat at 14 percent minimum, crude fiber at 8 percent maximum and moisture at 10 percent maximum.

The first ingredients Diamond lists are chicken meal, chicken, white rice, cracked pearled barley and grain sorghum. Diamond’s feeding guide runs by weight, from about a third of a cup a day at 5 pounds up to about 1 and a quarter cups at 20 pounds for a maintenance diet, with less active cats fed slightly smaller amounts.
