Instinct Original Adult Lamb Wet Cat Food (3oz)

Instinct Original Pate Grass-Fed Lamb Entree is a wet, canned food for adult cats, sold here in a 3 ounce can.

Instinct describes this recipe as 95 percent lamb, turkey and liver, with the remaining 5 percent made up of vegetables, fruits and other whole-food ingredients, and no grain, potato, corn, wheat or soy. Instinct does not publish an AAFCO nutrient adequacy statement on this recipe’s page; the exact wording is on the can.

Ingredients open with lamb, turkey, lamb broth and turkey liver, followed by egg product and peas. Instinct’s guaranteed analysis lists a minimum 10.0 percent crude protein, 10.0 percent crude fat, a maximum 2.0 percent crude fiber and 78.0 percent moisture. Feeding amounts vary by age, weight and activity level per Instinct’s own guide.

Sniff and Shift also carries its own freeze-dried cat treats, a good pantry pairing for a cat eating this; the feeding guide covers portioning and gradual food switches.
