Orijen's own product page states this recipe "is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages," and describes it as made with fresh or raw duck, arctic char, rainbow trout, farm-raised venison and lamb, plus whole herring, with WholePrey organs and bone.

The first ingredients on Orijen's page are duck, arctic char, rainbow trout, venison and duck liver. Orijen's guaranteed analysis lists a minimum 40 percent crude protein, 20 percent crude fat, a maximum 3 percent crude fiber and 10 percent moisture, plus 1.8 percent calcium and 0.1 percent taurine. Orijen's own feeding guide sorts amounts by your cat's body weight.
