Freeze-Dried Turkey Heart Dog Treats

Freeze-dried turkey hearts for dogs, halved so each piece is a bite, with turkey heart as the only ingredient. We make it in small batches for Thanksgiving and bag it in one size, 1.5 ounces.

How it differs from our beef heart

Freeze-dried beef heart is the heart we make year-round, by the same method. Turkey heart is a different bird, it comes halved, and it comes in a single bag size for one season. Beef heart comes in three bag sizes and does not wait for a holiday. If the button here is off, beef heart is the stand-in.

Feeding and storage

This is an occasional treat, not a complete diet. Feed a half as it comes, or break a half in two again for small dogs or cats. Store the turkey heart at room temperature in the resealed bag.
