Can I use a Pink Papyrus mat for a large dog?
A large dog can use one, but the mat is compact compared to larger silicone or TPE mats. If your dog is over 40 pounds, a standard 8-by-8 eMat from SodaPup or Modern Dog might give more surface to work through. A Pink Papyrus mat works best for small to medium dogs and cats.
Do the suction cups ever fail?
Suction cups weaken over time if used in a humid bathroom constantly. Clean the suction cups and the surface they grip regularly, and replace them if they lose grip. Pink Papyrus can advise on replacement cups if yours wear out.
Is there a difference in texture between the five colors?
No. All five Pink Papyrus mats have the same multi-level surface. The texture is identical; only the color changes. Pick your color without worry about performance differences.
Can I freeze a Pink Papyrus mat?
The material should freeze, though suction cups may release faster when freezing and thawing repeatedly. Test freezing one mat first to see how it performs, and check that the suction still holds after thawing. If the cup grip weakens, rinse and dry the mat and wall before re-applying suction.
