Air-Dried Turkey Necks Dog Chews

Whole turkey necks for dogs, air dried low and slow, with one ingredient: turkey neck. We make them in small batches in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

We dry these instead of cooking them, and the reason is the bone. Cooked poultry bone goes brittle and splinters. Dried low and slow, a neck keeps its meat and connective tissue wrapped around the bone, and that is what the dog chews through.

Bigger than a duck neck

We make turkey necks for Thanksgiving. Each order is 1 neck. When a batch sells out the button turns off, and we do not take orders ahead. The Thanksgiving page has the rest of the day.

Keep a session to about fifteen or twenty minutes, and stay for all of it.

Are these dehydrated turkey necks for dogs, or raw?

Dried, and never cooked. We air-dry whole necks low and slow in small batches, and turkey neck is the only ingredient.

Can a small dog have a turkey neck?

No. These are not for toy or small breeds, and not for a dog that swallows chews whole.

How much of a turkey neck is bone?

Roughly forty to fifty-five percent. That is why we say to count a neck as part of the day's food and not on top of it.

When do I take the neck away?

Once the piece is small enough to swallow, or as soon as it shows a sharp edge.
