A finely ground frozen raw beef blend for dogs, cats and ferrets, in 1 lb and 2.5 lb bags. Raw Instincts describes the grind as 80 percent muscle meat including beef heart, 10 percent bone from raw meaty bones, and 10 percent organs, split 5 percent beef liver and 5 percent beef kidney.

Raw Instincts lists ground beef, beef heart, raw meaty bones, beef liver and beef kidney, with nothing added. They describe the beef as human grade, USA sourced from regional suppliers and two farms in Florida, prepared in small batches, never HPP treated or denatured. Bags are resealable, freezer safe, water resistant and not microwave safe.

Their handling notes: keep it frozen until use, thaw in the refrigerator, then refrigerate up to four days. For cats and ferrets Raw Instincts suggests adding chicken or beef hearts for natural taurine. They recommend rotating proteins and state that their meals do not meet AAFCO nutrient requirements.
