Howloween 5K & Dog Walk + Fall Fair (Home at Last)

We're excited to be heading to Howloween 5K & Dog Walk + Fall Fair (Home at Last) in North Wales — come see Sniff & Shift there!

The 12th annual Howloween 5K & Dog Walk takes over Parkside Place Park in North Wales on Saturday, October 31, 2026 — Halloween morning — with every dollar supporting Home at Last Dog Rescue, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) that pulls homeless dogs out of shelters and puppy mills.

The 5K starts at 9 AM, the one-mile dog walk steps off at 11, and the costume contests hit at 11:30 — costumes are officially encouraged for people and pups alike. The fall fair runs alongside with food trucks, vendors, a dog agility course, puppuccinos and more than 50 raffle baskets, wrapping up at 1:30 PM.

Four-legged friends are welcome at all of it, which makes this one of the best Halloween mornings a dog can have in Montgomery County.
