Coming to the App: Co-Pilot Care Sync — the Whole Family, One Dog, Zero Mix-Ups

🚦 Update: the beta is live! Download the Sniff and Shift App beta on TestFlight — iPhone and Apple Watch, free.
Every multi-person dog household knows the questions: Did anyone feed him? Who walked her? How far? The new Co-Pilot Care Sync feature shipping with the Sniff and Shift App this August answers all of them, permanently.
How it works: generate a unique share code for your co-pilot and hand it to family, roommates, or the dog walker. Everyone's app links to the same live log — meals (with calories pulled from our food comparison chart), water, walks with distance, potty breaks, treats. Whoever does the thing logs the thing, and everyone sees it instantly.
The part that saves dinners: set the care schedule, and if breakfast hasn't been logged by the set time, the whole crew gets pinged at your chosen interval. No more double meals, no more missed ones — which matters more than it sounds, because the APOP 2024 survey classifies 59% of U.S. dogs as overweight or obese, and research shows overweight dogs live up to 2.5 years less (Salt et al., JVIM 2019).
Read the full breakdown — the research, the use cases, the missed-care pings — on the Co-Pilot Care Sync page.
