Here's our local's guide to the best of the Main Line for dogs.
Parks and trails
Radnor Trail (Wayne). A paved, flat, tree-shaded rail-trail that's perfect for an easy leashed walk. It's popular with dog walkers for good reason: gentle, scenic, and accessible for dogs of every age and fitness level.
The Willows Park (Villanova). Rolling open lawns, a pretty pond, and a classic mansion backdrop make this a favorite for a relaxed stroll. Keep dogs leashed and off the wildlife, and it's a lovely low-key outing.
Wilson Farm Park (Wayne). Wide paved paths loop through open fields, giving dogs plenty of room to walk and sniff. It's a reliable go-to when you want an easy, well-kept spot close to town.

Downtown Wayne. The unofficial heart of the Main Line for dog owners, Wayne's walkable main drag is full of shops and cafes, many of which happily greet four-legged visitors. It's a great town for a leashed stroll-and-shop.
Suburban Square (Ardmore). One of the region's original open-air shopping centers, with plenty of outdoor space to walk your dog between errands. Several spots welcome dogs on their patios.
Devon and Berwyn. Charming, low-key, and dotted with dog-friendly stops, this stretch is perfect for a quieter outing.
