Inside the Co-Pilot Health Dashboard: Gauges, Goals, and Care Sync

🚦 Update: the beta is live! Download the Sniff and Shift App beta on TestFlight — iPhone and Apple Watch, free.

The Sniff and Shift App's health dashboard treats your dog like the fine machine they are: an instrument cluster with real gauges. Here's the tour.

The gauges. Health Score up top, then Walk Minutes, Hydration, and Fuel (meals), then Calories and the Treat Tank, with macro bars alongside. Goals auto-scale from your dog's weight using published guidance — about an ounce of water per pound, walk targets by size — and every gauge is tappable to tune, because you know your dog and the app doesn't.

The calorie engine. Meals pull calories and macros straight from our Dog Food Comparison chart; targets follow the standard veterinary energy formula against your dog's weight goal. The Treat Meter sizes each treat from grain-of-rice to clementine and holds the line on the 10% rule. The evidence for caring: controlled feeding added a median 1.8 years of life in the landmark study (Kealy et al., JAVMA 2002).

Care Sync. One share code links family, roommates, and the walker to the same live log, with pings when scheduled care is missed. Full details on the Co-Pilot Care Sync page.

The history. Every Sniffari is kept — distance, minutes, who rode shotgun, and that day's stats.

Care Sync ships with the Sniff and Shift App this August, and the beta is live on TestFlight now — join the Pit Crew for release news. Tracking aid, not medical advice: your vet always comes first.
