3D 501 AAT Rubbing Compound, Gallon

The gallon of 3D AAT 501, for shops and for anyone correcting paint often enough that quarts stop making sense. The maker builds it on Adaptive Abrasive Technology, calls it body shop safe and free of silicone and fillers, and says it cuts P1000 grit sandpaper or finer while removing sanding marks, deep scratches, oxidation and water spots. Its low dust behavior keeps a bay cleaner, and 3D says the gloss it leaves often removes the need for a second polishing step.

It works with both dual action and rotary machines and with foam or wool pads, so it fits an existing process rather than dictating one. Work in small sections, keep pads clean and rotated, and check the panel under strong light before you call it done. Decant from the gallon into a bench bottle and keep the jug closed. Finish with a polish on dark or sensitive paint where a final refinement step is expected.
