3D BDX Iron Remover, Gallon

BDX dissolves the iron your wash cannot reach: brake dust, iron oxidation and rail or industrial fallout embedded in wheels and paint. Its color changing formula is the useful part, because it bleeds purple exactly where iron is being lifted, so you can see the contamination instead of guessing at it. 3D lists BDX as an "Acid-Free Iron Remover" that is "Safe on Paint and Wheels".

3D's directions are simple: spray a generous amount over a section of the vehicle or onto a wheel, let it dwell one to two minutes until the reaction bleeds dark purple, then rinse off with clean water. Use it on a cool surface and out of direct sun. This is a decontamination step, so it belongs after the wash and before clay, polish or any coating. A gallon is enough for a long run of full decontamination details rather than a single car.
