3D BDX Wheel Cleaner, 16 oz

3D BDX is an acid free brake dust cleaner and iron oxide remover for wheels and paint. Brake dust is not just dirt, it is iron that embeds itself in the surface and keeps corroding after the car looks clean, and BDX is the step that pulls it out. 3D lists it as removing brake dust, iron oxidation and fallout from car wheels and paint, and as a wash prep spray that decontaminates the surface before you go any further.

Spray it on, let it work, then rinse it off. The formula changes color as it reacts: 3D puts it plainly, the more purple you see, the more iron oxide and fallout it is breaking down. That gives you an honest read on how contaminated a wheel actually was. 3D lists it as usable on both painted surfaces and wheels.
