3D GLW Clay Lube, Pint

3D GLW Clay Lubricant is the wet layer that sits between a clay bar and your paint. Claying without enough lubrication is how people put marring into a finish they were trying to clean, so this is not an optional extra. 3D describes it as hyper slick and high lubricity, and says the lubrication reduces friction and helps prevent sticking, scratching or marring while the clay picks up dirt, brake dust and environmental fallout.

Use it after washing and drying. Spray the lubricant over a section, slide the clay back and forth across the lubricated area, then wipe the panel off before you move on. 3D says the formula is completely neutral, so it works with any clay bar, synthetic clay, clay towel or clay pad you already own rather than locking you into one brand of clay. This is the pint at 16 fluid ounces. Clay lube goes faster than people expect, since the surface has to stay wet the whole time you are working it.
