3D GLW Iron Remover, Pint

Brake dust does not sit on a wheel, it embeds in it, and washing alone will not shift it. The 3D GLW Series Iron Remover is the decontamination step for that. 3D describes it as a high performance, acid free iron remover that breaks down and loosens brake dust, traffic pollution and road film, and says it cleans painted, chrome, polished and coated aluminum wheels without damaging the surface. It also works as a paint decontamination step before polishing.

Work on a cool surface out of direct sun. Spray the wheel or panel, leave it for thirty seconds to a minute while it reacts, then rinse thoroughly with water. The spray bleeds purple where it finds iron, so you can see it working and see when the surface is clean. 3D says heavy scrubbing is not needed. This is the pint, a 16 fl oz trigger bottle, which treats a full set of wheels several times over.
