3D GLW SiO2 Ceramic Matte Tire is tire dressing for people who do not want shiny tires. It restores an ultra dark finish to dull and worn looking rubber, but leaves a low sheen matte look rather than the wet gloss most dressings give you. 3D describes it as a sophisticated low sheen finish that complements the overall style of the vehicle, which is the honest version of why anyone picks matte over gloss.

The SiO2 in it is doing protective work as well. 3D lists UV protection that shields tires from fading, cracking, dry rot and discoloration, plus hydrophobic behavior that repels water spots, dirt and mud so the tires stay looking clean longer.
