3D GLW Ultimate Wash, 64 oz

3D GLW Ultimate Wash is the soap step of a home wash. Its job is to build a thick foam that surrounds road dirt and lifts it off the paint so most of the grit rinses away before your mitt ever touches a panel, which is where wash swirls usually come from. 3D lists it as "pH-Neutral" and says it "Doesn't Strip Existing Protection", so a wax or coating you already put down stays where it is. The vendor description adds that the formula holds minerals in suspension, which is why it can be used in full sun without spotting the moment the panel dries.

Use it in the classic two bucket way: pre rinse the car, mix the soap in a clean bucket, then wash from the roof down, one section at a time, rinsing as you go. It also runs through a foam gun or foam cannon for a pre soak layer. This is the 64 oz jug, the size that makes sense once washing the car has become a weekend habit rather than an experiment. 3D does not publish a dilution ratio for this soap, so follow the label on the bottle.
