3D GLW Wheel & Tire Cleaner, 64 oz

Wheels are the dirtiest thing on a car and they need their own chemical. 3D GLW Wheel and Tire Cleaner is a heavy duty degreaser aimed at baked on brake dust, road grime and the brown bloom that turns black sidewalls gray. 3D describes it as "the ultimate solution for deep cleaning your car's wheels and tires" and lists it as "Safe on Factory and Aftermarket Wheels and Tires", naming clear coated, powder coated, chrome, alloy and painted finishes.

The vendor gives the routine as spray, brush, then rinse away the buildup, working one wheel at a time so nothing dries on the face. Do the wheels before you wash the paint, so anything that splashes gets rinsed off later in the wash. This is the 64 oz refill size, which is the one to buy once you have a spray bottle already and are cleaning four wheels every wash instead of once a season. 3D also lists this cleaner in 16 oz and 1 gallon.
