3D HYDRO-FIL Green Drying Towel, 20 x 31.5 in

Drying is where a lot of wash damage actually happens, because a thin towel drags grit across paint that is still wet. This is 3D's HYDRO-FIL drying towel in the extra large size, listed by the maker at "1200 GSM - Super Absorbent & Scratch Free" and built from an "80% Polyester, 20% Polyamide" blend. 3D puts the absorbency at "2 Gallons of Absorbency" and measures this size at 20 inches by 31.5 inches.

Use it by laying it flat on a panel and drawing it toward you rather than scrubbing, letting the pile carry the water instead of pushing it around. One towel this size will usually take a sedan from soaking to dry, and the thickness means it holds what it picks up rather than pushing a wave ahead of it. Wash it on its own, away from cotton, so it keeps its grab. 3D lists the same towel in a large 20 by 24 inch and an XXL 20 by 40 inch, and in a gray version.
