3D I-Cut 513 Industrial Compound, Quart

3D I-Cut 513 is a body shop compound. 3D calls it "an industrial grade, fast-cutting one-step compound and polish designed for high-volume production shops where speed and efficiency are a top priority". In plain terms it cuts hard clear coat quickly and finishes bright enough that many shops stop there instead of adding a second polishing step. The vendor description states it "Removes sanding marks of P1500 or finer and other paint defects and imperfections".

Work it with a machine polisher on a small section at a time. The vendor notes it "Works great with wool and foam buffing pads" and gives it a long open time, meaning it stays workable through the buffing cycle and still wipes off easily at the end. Wipe the residue with a clean microfiber towel and inspect under a light before moving on. This is the quart, which is a working size rather than a sample, so it suits a full car correction or a run of smaller repairs. No dilution is involved, it is used as it comes.
