The abrasives are 3D's own, made at their Santa Clarita, California plant, and the protection left behind is a synthetic sealant blended with Montan wax. 3D claims up to six months on a daily driver, and the finish is slick enough that the next wash and dry is less likely to put marring back in.
It is happy by hand, on an orbital, or on a rotary, with any pad you own. 3D lists it for virtually any paint, plus gelcoat, plastics and paint protection film, and for light water spotting or road film on glass.
