Faded gray plastic trim ages a car faster than paint does. 3D Trim Care is the gel for it, and the maker describes it as restoring "a deep, dark rich shine to faded, aged exterior trim and components". It is aimed at trim, moldings, door handles, mirrors, bumpers and wiper arms, and 3D lists it as working on black, brown and gray plastic, not black alone. The finish is described as "Non-greasy, dry to the touch" and "Water resistant, will not run off in wet weather or repeated washing".

The method has two steps. Put the product on an applicator pad, spread it over a clean surface, massage it in and give it 45 seconds to a minute to penetrate. Then take a clean microfiber utility towel and buff the area to a dry, rich satin sheen. For badly neglected trim 3D says to apply generously, allow up to 10 minutes, then repeat in 5 minute cycles until the color holds. This is the pint bottle.
