3D Wipe, Pint

3D Wipe is a professional grade panel wipe. After you compound and polish, the paint still carries polishing oils and residue, and anything you lay on top has to bond through them. A panel wipe chemically dissolves that film so the surface underneath is genuinely clean. 3D calls it a water based solvent that removes residual polishing oils with a high lubricity formula that helps prevent towel marring, and lists paint, glass, plastic, rubber and metal as surfaces it can be used on. It is the step 3D specifies before installing one of its ceramic coatings.

Use it after washing, claying and paint correction, and immediately before the coating or sealant goes on. Spray onto the panel, wipe through with a clean microfiber towel, and turn to a fresh face often so you are lifting the residue away rather than moving it around. This is the pint, 16 oz, which is the size most people buy for a single full correction.
