3D Yellow Degreaser Wheel Cleaner, Gallon

Yellow Degreaser is 3D's non acid answer to the wheel area. The maker lists it as a "Non-acid heavy-duty cleaner/degreaser" that "Cleans wheels, tires, and wheel well areas", and the vendor description explains the mechanism: it "Dissolves and breaks the bond between oily brake dust and your car's rims". It also has a job most wheel cleaners cannot do, which is stripping old greasy silicone tire dressing off a sidewall so a fresh coat has something clean to sit on.

Spray it into the wheel well and across the wheel and tire, agitate with a stiff brush, and rinse before it dries. 3D lists it as suitable for chrome, coated and polished aluminum, painted surfaces, plastic wheel covers, stainless steel and wire wheels, and notes it cleans and brightens white walls and raised lettering. This is the gallon, which is the format to buy for a degreaser you will dilute and decant. 3D does not publish a dilution ratio on the product page, so go by the label.
