Acana describes this recipe as pairing “protein-rich fresh or raw farm-raised beef” with wholesome grains, vegetables and fruit, to help support immune health, healthy skin and coat, digestive health and healthy weight maintenance. Acana states this formula is formulated to meet the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages, except growth of large size dogs 70 pounds or more as an adult.

First ingredients: beef, beef meal, pearled barley, whole peas, oat groats, pork fat and pork meal. Acana’s guaranteed analysis is:

• Crude fiber: not more than 6%
• Moisture: not more than 12%

Acana's feeding chart uses an 8 ounce measuring cup, served dry or lightly moistened, fed twice daily with fresh water available.
