Acana says the first four ingredients in this recipe are fresh or raw chicken, chicken bone broth, turkey bone broth, and chicken liver, and that its fresh ingredients are refrigerated while raw ingredients are frozen at peak freshness. Acana states this recipe is formulated to meet AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages, including growth of large-size dogs (70 pounds or more as an adult).

Acana lists the first ingredients as chicken, chicken bone broth, turkey bone broth, chicken liver, sweet potatoes, cranberries, carrots, and spinach. Acana's own guaranteed analysis for this recipe:

Acana calculates 960 kcal per kilogram, or 348 kcal per can, and recommends feeding an adult dog 2/3 to 3/4 can per 10 pounds of body weight a day, with puppies fed up to twice that amount and pregnant or nursing dogs up to three times the normal adult amount.
