The Bottomland version of the Barrows flat lead, cut in the Mossy Oak pattern that most waterfowl kit is already wearing. It is a handling lead rather than a long line, so it does the walk from the truck, the wait at the blind and the trip back to the kennel. Camo means it sits with the rest of your gear instead of being the one bright thing on the bank.

It is made from Biothane coated webbing, which Barrows describes as waterproof, odor resistant and easy to wipe clean after a wet day. The hardware is solid brass and the handle is a folded ergonomic grip. Barrows lists it as a single option, with no size or length choice on this product.

Take our freeze dried dog treats along on those scouting walks so the dog is working for something on the way in. For the wider picture, read scouting the ground with your dog.

See the other patterns and colors in Barrows leashes and slip leads, and read the Meet Barrows Outdoor page for background on the maker.
