Dave's 95% Premium Meats™ Turkey & Turkey Liver For Dogs (12.5oz)

Dave's 95% Premium Meats Turkey & Turkey Liver is a single-protein canned food for adult dogs, made mostly of turkey and turkey liver with added water, vitamins, and minerals. The can holds 12.5 ounces.

Dave's markets this recipe as a limited-ingredient option, close to 95 percent meat, positioned as a more affordable alternative to a raw diet and useful as a topper on dry kibble. Dave's calls it a complete and balanced meal on its own page; talk to your veterinarian before switching an overweight or diabetic dog to a new diet.

The label lists turkey, water sufficient for processing, turkey liver, and turkey heart as the first ingredients, followed by added vitamins and minerals and no grain, rice, or starch.

Dave's lists this recipe's guaranteed analysis as crude protein 9 percent minimum, crude fat 6 percent minimum, crude fiber 1 percent maximum, and moisture 78 percent maximum, with a caloric content of 465 kilocalories per can. Dave's own feeding chart calls for 1 can per 15 pounds of body weight per day for an adult dog.

Dogs that clean their bowl for this one are usually happy to work for treats between meals too; browse Sniff and Shift's freeze-dried dog treats, and see the feeding guide for tips on introducing a new food gradually.
