The Round Armor is American Dog's rugged round bed, built for the heaviest scratchers, diggers and chewers in the house. Where their Furvana line leads with a plush top, this one leads with ballistic fabric, and American Dog also flags it as a good bed for camping and outdoor use.
The cover is rugged 1680D nylon ballistic fabric over a matching ballistic bottom with non skid strips, closed with YKK zippers and a hidden closure. The mattress uses a proprietary blend of shredded memory foam and prime foam, shaped by what American Dog calls its Recover Nesting Technology. They describe it as an orthopedic bed suited to older dogs or dogs with hip and mobility concerns, and note that it is waterproof, which helps with the occasional accident. The cover is removable and machine washable on quick dry and low heat, and the inner liner is hand wash only. Four sizes run from 25 inches to 45 inches, in black, camel, charcoal, olive, midnight and silver.
