Evanger's Classic Puppy & Underweight Dogs Chicken & Beef is a 12.5 ounce can of wet food built for growth, sold at Sniff and Shift through The Family Pet as an add-on to the treat lineup.

Evanger's own statement for this recipe reads: "Puppy Food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO nutrient profiles for growth." Evanger's calls the recipe simple and meat-based, originally formulated by Dr. Fred Evanger, and describes puppies, pregnant and nursing dogs as needing 2 to 3 times the amount fed to adult dogs, reduced for less active or older dogs.

Evanger's lists chicken, chicken broth, beef, sardines, brown rice, pearled barley, carrots and egg powder among the ingredients, with added vitamins and minerals. Evanger's own feeding chart calls for puppies up to 11 weeks to be fed as much as they will eat over 3 to 4 meals a day, then about 3/4 can per 5 pounds of body weight from 3 to 6 months, and about 1/2 can per 5 pounds from 6 to 12 months.
