The Hammer is a tug and fetch toy shaped like a claw hammer, sized for a dog to grab by the handle and swing. American Dog describes it as built for aggressive players and power tuggers. It makes a good match for a dog who wants a job and a tug partner.
It measures 14 inches by 2 inches and is made from 1680 x 1680 ballistic material. There is no squeaker in it. American Dog describes it as crunchy and squeakerless, and it floats, so it comes back out of the water. The lack of a squeaker keeps things calmer indoors and in public. Supervised play is always recommended, as no dog toy is indestructible.
Handmade in the USA by American Dog, our Denver partner brand, and shipped from Denver, usually within five to seven business days. Not made by Sniff and Shift. The Hammer is made in the USA. Read about the people behind it on Meet American Dog. American Dog also runs Gracie's Giveback, donating a set number of toys each quarter to rescue requests that meet their criteria.
