Health Extension All Life Stages Grain Free Buffalo, Whitefish and Sweet Potato Dog Food

Health Extension Grain Free Buffalo & Whitefish Recipe is a grain free dry kibble for dogs of all life stages, including large-breed growth. It comes in 4 pound and 23.5 pound bags.

Health Extension says the recipe is built around "free range buffalo as the first ingredient" with "deboned whitefish, an excellent source of Omega 3's," plus what it calls "a proprietary blend of cutting-edge ingredients like turmeric, apple cider vinegar, natural probiotics and pure coconut oil." Health Extension's own label states this recipe is "formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages including growth of large size dogs (70lbs. or more as an adult)." Health Extension calls this recipe "Vet Formulated".

First ingredients: buffalo, deboned whitefish, whitefish meal, whole sweet potatoes, pork meal, peas, chickpeas and lentils. Health Extension's guaranteed analysis:

• Crude protein: not less than 25%
• Crude fat: not less than 15%
• Crude fiber: not more than 5%
• Moisture: not more than 10%

Health Extension's feeding chart runs from about 1/4 cup a day for a small adult dog up to 3 to 4 cups a day for dogs 86 to 125 pounds, with a 5 day transition schedule.
