Health Extension Grain Free Venison Recipe is a grain free dry kibble for dogs of all life stages, including growth of large size dogs 70 pounds or more as an adult. It comes in 4 pound and 23.5 pound bags.

Health Extension says "this recipe starts with naturally lean venison, providing a high-quality and uncommon source of animal protein," calling it food to "fuel your dog's adventurous spirit." First ingredients: deboned venison, venison meal, whole sweet potatoes, pork meal, chickpeas, lentils, sunflower oil and brewers dried yeast. Health Extension's guaranteed analysis:

• Crude fat: not less than 15%
• Crude fiber: not more than 5%
• Moisture: not more than 10%

Health Extension's feeding chart runs from about 1/4 cup a day for a small adult dog up to 6 or more cups a day for the largest dogs, with a 5 day transition schedule.
