Jack-O-Tug

Trick or tug. The Jack-O-Tug is a carved pumpkin tug toy for the dog whose household goes all out for Halloween, and for the rest of the year when the decorations come down and the toy stays in rotation. American Dog builds it for aggressive players and power tuggers, so it belongs with the dog who wants a partner on the other end of the handle.

The pumpkin body measures 6.5 by 1.5 inches and the handle runs 15 by 2 inches, which gives you room to grip well clear of your dog's teeth. It is made from 1680 by 1680 ballistic fabric. There is no squeaker. It crunches when bitten, and American Dog describes the mouth feel as soft, which is why they position their ballistic toys as a substitute for rope toys that shed. Supervised play is always recommended, as no dog toy is indestructible.
