P&S Brake Buster, Pint

Brake Buster is the wheel cleaner that made the P&S Double Black line familiar to home detailers. P&S says it "safely removes accumulated brake dust, oil, dirt, stains and light corrosion from premium quality wheels without damaging the delicate surface" and describes it as "a unique cleaning gel that adheres to the wheel surface and penetrates the dirt deposits to clean them away." P&S also states it deposits a thin layer of corrosion inhibitors to protect the wheel from future corrosion.

The gel is the reason it works on a vertical face. Spray it onto a cool, dry wheel, let it cling and dwell rather than rinsing straight away, agitate the barrel and the spokes with a wheel brush, then rinse thoroughly before it dries. Do one wheel at a time in the shade. This is the pint, which is a single car size and fits a standard trigger sprayer; P&S also sells quarts, gallons and larger for shop use.
