P&S Bug Off Insect Remover, Pint

Bug Off is a pre wash step, not a wash. P&S says it "breaks down heavy bug concentrations on the front grill and bumper prior to vehicle washing." That front bumper film after a summer highway run is the exact job: the bugs bond to the clear coat and scrubbing them dry is how paint picks up marks, so a dedicated softener earns its place in the bay.

The directions from P&S are short: "Apply Bug Off prior to vehicle washing and rinsing and watch bug debris disappear." Hit the grill, the bumper, the mirrors and the leading edge of the hood while the panel is cool, give it a minute, then go into your normal wash so the softened residue lifts with the soap instead of being scrubbed off. This is the pint, which is the size to try it with before committing to a gallon. P&S does not publish a dilution ratio on the product page.
