P&S Frostbite Snow Foam, Quart

Frostbite Surface Cleanse Snow Foam is the pre wash foam from P&S Detail Products. P&S says it is "specially formulated to provide effective cleaning power while being gentle on your vehicle's delicate paintwork" and that the formula "penetrates deep into crevices and lifts away dirt, road salt, and other contaminants." The point of a foam like this is to move grit off the paint before a wash mitt ever touches it, which is where most swirl marks start.

P&S describes the foam as rich and dense, clinging to the surface so it can loosen and encapsulate dirt for an easy rinse. In practice that means a foam cannon on a pressure washer or a foam gun on a hose, laid on top to bottom, left to dwell, then rinsed off before you start your contact wash. This is the quart bottle, the size most home washers buy, since a cannon only uses a few ounces per car.
