P&S Hot Shot High Power Degreaser Concentrate, Gallon

Hot Shot is the heavy cleaner in the P&S Pro Series, aimed at the greasy end of a car rather than the paint. P&S calls it "a very strong degreasing and cleaning solution that completely dissolves grease and dirt," and says it "utilizes new, high efficiency, biodegradable detergents and solvents for remarkable results." That biodegradable wording is the maker speaking about its own formula, not a certification.

The range is wider than the name suggests. P&S says its "versatility allows it to be used not only for degreasing of engines and related parts, but also may be used to clean wheels, tires and the under body carriage." On strength: it "may be used full strength on tough applications, or may be diluted with water for lighter cleaning," so the same gallon covers an engine bay and a set of tire sidewalls at different mixes. Keep it off hot surfaces, work in the shade, and rinse well. P&S does not publish exact dilution numbers on the page.
