P&S IRS Foaming Auto Shampoo, 5 Gallon

IRS, which P&S prints on the label as It's Red Soap, is a highly concentrated liquid car wash shampoo diluted at 128 to 1. It produces a thick, long lasting lather with good rinsing qualities and no streaking, and it is strong enough to lift heavy dirt while staying mild enough for everyday use. It is cherry scented, which is the detail people remember about it. This is the five gallon pail.

At 128 to 1 a small measure makes a full wash bucket, so work out your ratio once and stick to it rather than pouring by eye. It is made for hand or machine use, so the same concentrate runs through a two bucket wash, a foam cannon or a wash bay. Rinse the car first, wash from the top down, and rinse before the suds dry. Five gallons of concentrate is a very large number of washes, which is the reason to buy this size.
