P&S Leather Treatment, Pint

Leather Treatment is P&S's leather conditioner and protectant, and the pint is the size for one car kept up over time. Seats lose their softness through nothing more dramatic than daily use, and P&S describes the problem directly: "Due to normal use seats over time become dry and loose their natural luster." The maker calls this "the ideal product for reconditioning lifeless weathered automotive leather seats," and notes it "infuses interiors with an intense scent that lasts and lasts."

Order matters. Clean the leather first, because a conditioner applied over dirt locks that dirt against the hide. Then put Leather Treatment on a foam applicator or a folded microfiber rather than straight on the seat, work it across the cushion, bolsters and backrest, give it a minute, and buff the excess so nobody slides on a corner. Bolsters and the driver's seat edge take the most wear and are worth a second pass. A pint handles a full interior with plenty left for the next few rounds.
